Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about balloon art installations
Pricing varies by project type. A single decorative piece for a venue costs less than a multi-day festival production with LED technology and kinetic elements. To give you an idea: we work on everything from intimate corporate centerpieces to full-scale festival takeovers with multiple installations. The main factors are size, complexity, duration, and location. Send us your event details via our contact page and we’ll get back to you with a clear quote within 48 hours.
Simple. Send us your event details — date, location, type, and any ideas you have — via our contact page. We’ll get back to you within 48 hours with a creative proposal and quote. Once you’re happy, we lock in your date and handle the rest: from concept to on-site production. The earlier you reach out, the more creative possibilities we can explore together.
We work across the full spectrum: music festivals (Thuishaven, Coachella, Time Warp), corporate events and brand activations (Adyen, Booking.com, Tesla, Philips), shopping malls (Gelderland Plein, Dubai Marina Mall), hotel and venue installations (Sir Adam Hotel, Tropenmuseum), product launches, private celebrations, and art exhibitions. If there’s a space, we can transform it.
Three things: First, our founder Micha de Haan has 25+ years of experience as a balloon art engineer — he approaches every project as a mood architect, not a decorator. Second, we develop our own LED and kinetic technology, creating effects no one else can. Third, our client list speaks for itself — from Coachella and Booking.com to GitHub and Thuishaven, we work with organizations that demand the extraordinary.
Kinetic Balloons© is our signature innovation — balloon sculptures and installations that move, float, and interact with their environment. Combined with LED lighting and custom engineering, these create living, breathing art pieces that respond to music, wind, or choreography. We pioneered this technique over 25 years of experimentation.
LED balloon art combines illuminated balloons with custom lighting technology to create spectacular light installations. Inspired by natural phenomena like the Northern Lights and bioluminescent creatures, we use proprietary LED systems to transform spaces into immersive light environments — from intimate venues to massive festival stages.
Yes — we do it all the time at festivals across Europe. We select materials and placement based on the conditions: sheltered spots for latex, UV-resistant options for sun-exposed areas, and solid anchoring for wind. Every outdoor design starts with a site assessment so the installation looks great from start to finish.
Balloon installations are inherently media-worthy — they’re the first thing guests photograph and share. We design every installation with shareability in mind. Our large-scale sculptures and LED-lit environments become visual landmarks that attract cameras, phones, and press coverage. We amplify your branding by translating logos, color palettes, and campaign themes into three-dimensional, immersive experiences that tower above the crowd. The result: your brand appears organically in hundreds of social media posts, stories, and event recaps — without paying for a single ad.
Yes. We’re based in Amsterdam but work throughout Europe and beyond. Recent projects include festivals in Germany (Stil Vor Talent Berlin, Tanzinsel), luxury events in Mykonos, installations in Dubai, and Coachella in the US. We handle all logistics including transport and on-site production.
We take sustainability seriously. We use 100% natural latex balloons that are biodegradable — latex is harvested from rubber trees without harming them. We minimize waste by precise planning, reuse structural elements across events, and never release balloons into the air. Our LED technology is energy-efficient and our kinetic installations are designed to be dismantled and reused.
We perform a wide range of live acts tailored to festivals, club nights, corporate events, and street theatre:
Master Blaster — A 3-metre balloon inflated among the crowd, filled with confetti or mini-balloons, timed to burst on the beat drop. Pure euphoria — deployed in 1 to 4 positions simultaneously.
Balloon Parade — Themed processions with portable LED balloon sculptures through festival crowds or city streets. Magical at dusk.
Balloon LetterPret — Giant LED-lit words spelled in balloons — DJ names, brand names, custom messages. Pro tip: the letters reflected in a shiny Master Blaster balloon just before it pops create a perfect media moment.
Crowd Surf Art — Oversized balloon sculptures that ride the crowd, combined with mobile balloon drops when the weather allows.
Balloon Stilt Costumes — Towering stilt performers in giant balloon costumes — astronauts, robots, and beyond.
Balloon Garlands — Enormous LED-lit balloon garlands floating high above the audience, creating sweeping shapes and massive visual impact.
Walkway into Heaven — A ladder disappearing into a cloud of balloons, with balloon figures climbing upward. Poetic and unforgettable.
Dancing Balloon People — LED-equipped balloon characters that dance and interact with the crowd.
Master Blaster Mr. Potato Head — A giant balloon with a full face — hat, nose, mouth, eyes, ears — inflated until it pops. Hilarious and spectacular.
Every act is tailored to your event and can be combined for maximum impact.
